And the recipe that a few of you missed and asked for:
Malted Double Chocolate Tart by Aida Mollenkamp
Ingredients
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer cookies crumbs
11 ounces milk chocolate, finely chopped
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup malted powder
Directions
Melt 6 tablespoons of the butter. Combine cookie crumbs and butter in a small bowl and mix
until thoroughly moistened.
Transfer to an 8-inch tart pan. Using the back of a cup or measuring cup, press mixture into
the pan with a removable bottom until evenly covering the bottom and sides of the pan. Set in
freezer until set, at least 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, place chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl and set aside. Place cream in a small saucepan
and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
Remove from heat and whisk in malted milk powder until smooth and pour over chocolate. Let sit until
chocolate is starting to melt, about 1 minute. Gently stir until all chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in
remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, small piece by piece, until evenly incorporated.
Turn mixture into the prepared tart crust and spread until even. Cover loosely and refrigerate until
filling is set, at least 1 1/2 hours.

Speaker Archives
Did you know that we tape the speakers? So if you or your little one was sick and you missed a speaker, or if you were serving in Children's Ministry and you really want to hear what you missed, you can hear the recording off of the King's Harbor Website.

Spa Day!!
I hope you ladies enjoyed Spa Day! I was in a car driving back from Lake Tahoe. Here are a few photos that our resident historian Melissa was able to take:
I am so excited about our MOPS speakers this week. We are having a 4 person question and answer panel on the subject of choosing schools. Are you torn between home, public or private schooling your children? Do you have questions about one of the option or all three? Our panel is here to help!
This is the last meeting of the fall semester. If you did not register for the full year in the fall, you will need to re-register yourself and your children for their spots in Children's Ministry. Our next session will start on Thursday, February 9th.
See you on Thursday! The Orange and Red tables are bringing food, and the Blue table is serving in Children's Ministry.
